A Natural Learning Environment​
The Nurture Reserve was created to allow children to explore their own social and emotional wellbeing surrounded by the natural environment.
Hello I am Claire, the founder of The Nurture Reserve. After many years as a primary school teacher I began to realise the constraints of the classroom and the impact this can have on children's development and wellbeing. After undertaking my Level 3 Forest school I began bringing forest school to primary and secondary schools across Doncaster. I am now based within a Leeds school and the Nurture Reserve offers sessions to local schools, nurseries and parents.
